Sorn Village Hall is situated in a small river-side park with pleasant, well-maintained flower beds and planting. A small car park is located at the front of the building.
The main entrance is approached via a generous, gentle, wheelchair-friendly ramp. Through the storm doors, the main apartments of the Hall lead from a central corridor.
The Committee room doubles as a cloakroom as well as a small, carpeted meeting room suitable for around 16 people.
A modern kitchen with LPG range-style cooker, freezer, fridge, microwave and stainless steel worktops provides ample support for most catering requirements.
The main Hall, capable of holding 120 people, is airy and light and offers a flexible space for displays, seating, indoor sport, social events and dances. The focal point is a substantial stage area a few steps up from the Hall. Lighting options and amplifier, including inductive loop are available. A smart bar area is located in the corner of the Hall. Tables and chairs are also available.
A toilet with facilities for wheelchair users is located from the corridor.
Changing rooms, with toilets and showers provide functional facilities for each gender.
There is very limited storage available in the Hall.
