Sorn Village Hall is situated in a small river-side park with pleasant, well-maintained flower beds and planting. A small car park is located at the front of the building.
The main entrance is approached via a generous, gentle, wheelchair-friendly ramp. Through the storm doors, the main apartments of the Hall lead from a central corridor.
The Committee room doubles as a cloakroom as well as a small, carpeted meeting room suitable for around 16 people.
A modern kitchen with LPG range-style cooker, freezer, fridge, microwave and stainless steel worktops provides ample support for most catering requirements.
The main Hall, capable of holding 120 people, is airy and light and offers a flexible space for displays, seating, indoor sport, social events and dances. The focal point is a substantial stage area a few steps up from the Hall. Lighting options and amplifier, including inductive loop are available. A smart bar area is located in the corner of the Hall. Tables and chairs are also available.
A toilet with facilities for wheelchair users is located from the corridor.
Changing rooms, with toilets provide functional facilities for each gender.
There is very limited storage available in the Hall.
