Sorn Village Hall - About

A hall for Sorn — run by Sorn.

Sorn Village Hall has stood at the heart of the community since 1954. Held in trust for the benefit of the people of Sorn and the surrounding district, the hall exists to serve the village - for community events, social gatherings (even funeral teas), education, and everything else that brings people together.

Day-to-day running is handled by a small committee of local volunteers, supported by the Hall Keeper who looks after bookings and general enquiries. The hall is a registered Scottish charity (No. SC026316), which means any surplus goes back into looking after the building, not into anyone's pocket.
